No cause has yet been identified in a fire that heavily damaged a home in the 500 block of North Gaillard Street about 6:30 p.m. Saturday. A social media post by the Baytown Fire Department said there was an estimated $25,000 worth of damage done to the structure. Read more here

On June 20th, Lieutenant John Wadley will be retiring from the Baytown Fire Department after 29 years of service.
